Eagle County, CO (Vail Valley)
Eagle County is home to several picturesque Rocky Mountain communities with elevations ranging from 6,000-9,000 ft. The mountains and rivers offer a plethora of outdoor adventures including: hiking, kayaking, fishing, rafting, biking, camping, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice/rock climbing, and so much more. Eagle County is home to the world-class ski resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek. With a population of about 65,000, it is a resort-style tourist destination with plenty of shopping, exquisite restaurants, and community events.

Denver, CO
Denver, also known as The Mile High City, sits at 5280 miles above sea level. With a population of over 700,000 people, Denver is where urban sophistication meets outdoor adventure. Denver is an outdoor city known for its world-class cultural attractions, renowned craft breweries, fantastic dining, and a red-hot music scene, all within easy reach of the Rocky Mountains for outdoor adventures.
STRIDE Community Health Center and Code-4 Counseling are located in the Denver Metro area.
Greater Colorado
Colorado also boasts “300 days of sunshine” and is home to Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde, the Great Sand Dunes, the Black Canyon, and Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Colorado is an amazing place to live, work, and recreate in both the outdoors and cultural/urban settings with a number of unique towns to explore including Boulder and Colorado Springs.
In addition to experiencing the beauty of Colorado, interns who choose to work in Colorado following internship would have opportuntiies to pursue loan repayment/forgivness plans.
